Nectar Biofuels was born in 2024 from the idea of two Sicilian companies, Icaro Ecology e Maiorana Costruzioni, with the aim to combat climate change by producing feedstock at km0 for biofuels.

It focuses on three key concepts: innovation, sustainability and research.

What sets Nectar Biofuels, in fact, is the method: a virtuous model of circular economy that uses resources from nature, without affecting the agri-food chain, to contribute to the production of biofuels.

Nectar Method is based on:

• not affecting the agri-food chain
• creating occupation, new opportunities and cultivation methods
• reducing the consumption of virgin soil
• reusing reclaimed soils
• exploiting the numerous economic advantages of km0 cultivation
